Wednesday afternoon there was an assortment of shorebirds on N. 46th Road
between Meridan and Earlville. Species seen:

Semipalmated Sandpiper

Lesser Yellowlegs

Greater Yellowlegs

Short-billed Dowitcher

Killdeer

They were in a flooded field and ditch along the road. It looks like a
drainage culvert is blocked and the water can't go down. North 46th road is
the second road north of the BNSF railroad. The flooded area is between E
9th and E 1175th roads. E 9th is the road that goes north at Moyer's Curve,
the big curve in Route 34 west of Earleville) and 1175th is the road that
goes north at the far west end of Earlville by the old factory north of
Dayes 34 drive in movie theater.
