Subject: [JERSEYBI] big and small at Assunpink
This AM I had a couple of encounters with Wild Turkey at Assunpink. There
was a calling pair that flew from a tree and landed in front of me on the
road before disappearing into the woods. Later on I saw a 1/2 dozen on a
field near the main parking lot of Lake Assunpink. Much to my surprise
there was a breeding plumage Ruddy Duck on the lake.
My last sighting was of a young Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
