Looked for the sandpipers at the Whalon Lake mudflats only found 13 killdeer, 2 eastern Kingbirds, Lots of red winged blackbirds and heard some yellow warblers and common yellowthroat.
After continuing on to the Lake saw a Dickcissel and 1 more kingbird. In the lake on the sunken tree there was a Ring-billed gull next to a Cormorant that was next to the Bonapartes gull. The Bonapartes had pink legs black edged wings and a black spot one the head so a juvenile.
