Put me down in the Carolina Wren camp. The multiple syllables in the song
and somewhat 'sputtery' quality at the end seem to fit. It does sound a
bit thin and 'half-hearted', and I suspect this could point to a young bird
whose song is not fully developed yet. Carolina Wrens start trying to sing
at 40 days of age, so the timeline probably fits for that.
