Subject: IBET: Mundelein Mourning Warbler
Was cleaning my front porch eaves trough yesterday, saw a pair of little
legs sticking up. Assumed it was a Goldfinch until I pulled it out and saw
it was a Mourning Warbler. It must have hit the window that's above our
front door, then fallen down the porch roof & into the gutter. Sad way to
see such a nice bird at home!

We have the window decals on the biggest and highest windows, but over the
years have had the following DOAs;

American Woodcock
Mourning Dove
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Red-eyed Vireo
Gray Catbird
Gray-cheeked Thrush
Mourning Warbler
Goldfinch
House Finch

Why is it never a Starling or House Sparrow?
