Subject: [CT Birds] Hooded Warbler and Alder Flycatcher, Aspetuck Cemetery, Easton
The warbler was singing non-stop from trees in the swampy area at the back
of the cemetery (on north side where the Aspetuck River runs out of the
marsh). Alder flycatcher was in the same spot, seen and heard singing and
calling. There were several Willow Flycatchers singing as well - they nest
here. Aspetuck Cemetery is in Easton on 58, about a half mile north of the
intersection of 58 and 136, east side of the road (across the street from
the Bluebird Inn diner).
