Subject: [NEBirds] A Few Douglas Co. Migrants- TEWA, SWTH, etc.
Migration continues at a slow crawl on the "Central East Coast of Nebraska."
A few notable species yesterday morning (5/03) at Mercer Woods included a single BALTIMORE ORIOLE, a handful of vocal CHIMNEY SWIFTS, and a surprisingly rather cooperative TENNESSEE WARBLER (FOY) singing in snippets.  These were among 26 species sighted that morning.
5/02 at Orchard Hill Greenstrip had a couple of other species including a pair of SWAINSON'S THRUSH (FOY) and a male NASHVILLE WARBLER.
At Indian Creek Nursery on the same day, a female COMMON YELLOWTHROAT was observed.
Good birding.
