Subject: [nwcalbird] Hammond's Flycatcher, continuing Solitary Sandpiper
Hi all,
Today I led the "Mystery Tour" for Godwit Days. The best discovery of the
day was a HAMMOND'S FLYCATCHER at the Mad River Fish Hatchery. The bird was
south of the hatchery along the short trail that head south along the
river. At this spot I also got to hear Hermit, Townsend's and
Black-throated Gray Warblers singing.

One SOLITARY SANDPIPER continued today along Moxon Rd. in the Arcata
Bottoms and also flew to the slough on the south side of Bay School Rd.

We had 100 species today, give or take a few.

Happy Godwit Days!
