Beautiful afternoon! Sanderlings massing for migration - several hundred, balancing on individual cobbles as tide came in - very amusing. The first Brant geese I've seen there this year - 9. Also, large group of Bonaparte's Gulls - 20 plus - some in full breeding plumage. Bunch of Caspian and Elegant Terns. Unfortunately, also 2 dead RT Loons, in good condition, recently stranded. Need any for Western Foundation? Kay Regester, Ventura
