FOS. Wood thrushes!   Just this late evening!  Spring is really here on Brooks Mountain, Summers County, WV.  (on the map as Chestnut Mountain)
A great gift on a very stressful day.

Heard the first wood thrushes of the year this evening as I walked my dogs. I've also seen/heard blue grey gnatcatchers and yellow throated warblers in the last few days. Also - evidence of first hatching, two small egg shells dropped by the road , one blue, one white.
