Weather:
Moderate NW winds changed to variable with winds from the northeast
becoming stronger as day went on; temperature stayed about 8 C throughout
day (did not have thermometer); cloud cover went from 85% to 100%

Raptor Observations:
Migrating -- very small movement; Up to four American Kestrels were seen
throughout watch but only seemed to be hunting in the area. Number
estimated actually moving north may be double actual number that did. At
end of watch there were still two AK in the area.
Residents -- One Osprey and two Turkey Vultures

Non-raptor Observations:
Migrating -- One Common Loon, approx 65 DC Cormorants, 4 Mourning Doves, 3
Cowbirds, 4 Red-winged Blackbirds, and 20 Grackles
Residents -- One male and two female Purple Martins at gourds

Predictions:
Little if no migrating hawks expected until after Friday's rain goes
through
