Subject: [ia-bird] More from Dunbar Slough, Greene Co.
My morning trip to Dunbar Slough turned up the following:

4 white-faced Ibis (FOY), 3 on one side of a dike and 1 on other side.
14 Long-billed Dowitchers (FOY)
2 Short-billed Dowitchers (FOY)--difficult to separate, but 95% sure
~120 American Golden Plovers (FOY), mostly still in winter plumage
1 Least Sandpiper (FOY)
1 Semi-palmated Plover (FOY)
Lots of Franklin's Gulls
Lots of Lesser Yellowlegs & a few Greater Yellowlegs

And, on (or above) nearby public grasslands:

Many Savanna Sparrows
Many Vesper Sparrows (FOY)
2 Lark Sparrows (FOY)
1 Swainson's Hawk (FOY)

Then back to Boone for a quick hike on Lost Lake Trail at Ledges State Park:

1 Broad-winged Hawk (FOY)
1 Yellow-rumped Warbler
LOTS of Ruby-crowned Kinglets
1 Pileated Woodpecker
but not much else new to find there.
