Lots of birds arriving, Millay Road farm:

200+ grackles
pair of kestrels in our 13 acre field, a first for us; they have been there for 3 days now.
3 common flickers, busy around the base of rotting stumps
FOY today, tree swallows
This week:
fox, chipping, song sparrows
juncos
red-winged blackbirds, male and female
one male mallard

and the usual,
blue jays
robins
goldfinches
hairy and downy woodpeckers
white breasted and red breasted nuthatches
chickadees
tufted titmice
mourning doves
cardinal, male and female


no sign yet of palm warblers
