blockquote, div.yahoo_quoted { margin-left: 0 !important; border-left:1px #715FFA solid !important; padding-left:1ex !important; background-color:white !important; } HelloVesper Sparrow was at Millennium Park in West Roxbury late today, along the upper paved path below the soccer fields on northwest side of park. White eye ring, outer white tail feathers, plump size.It was with a group of 11 Savannah Sparrows, feeding in short grass next to path. Also I ran into a sizable flock of about 9 Rusty Blackbirds in the swamp that's in the woods - accessed by dirt path that veers off from main lower path. Almost all were singing gurgling song punctuated by the sharp high rusty hinge note. The song combined with the beady yellow eye is pretty cool.
