Subject: [ia-bird] George Wyth Park - Waterloo
This morning a group of 16 leisurely birded George Wyth Park In Waterloo focusing on an area near the bird blind. Some highlights:

Gray-cheeked thrush - early
Pine Warbler - early
Horned grebe
Red-shouldered hawk - carrying a snake across the river
Cooper’s hawk - at a nest
Vesper sparrow
Pileated Woodpecker
Yellow - rumped warbler - many
Osprey
Bonaparte’s Gull
about 40 other bird species
