Subject: Tundra Swan Washington County
Tonight 4/12/17 the Tundra Swan found back on 3/22 by John Flannigan via ebird is still present. Location is Peters Lake Park. It's hanging in the area where fishing and kayaking is not allowed. It will be interesting to see how much longer this Swan sticks around. It was also present yesterday but didn't post about it. This little gem of a lake is great for birding. There has been multiple species of waterfowl, cormorants, grebes that have come through there. 2015 was a great year for the lake with sightings such as Bonaparte's Gull found by jim hausman. Great Egret found by Gigi Gergen and A Common Loon I found. then one night there was 2 of them calling back in forth to each other. Matthew Juskowich Allegheny County
