Not that there can't be several Merlins in the BE Creek area, but that one looks like the bird I photographed at Bullit Run on March 25.

Subject: Merlin - Julian Wetlands

For the past two days, a very tame Merlin has been catching dragonflies from a wire at Julian Wetlands. I did not approach the Merlin as I did not want to scare it off. That said, I was able to get a few nice looks from the parking area.
