Date: 4/11/17 3:47 pm From: Bird observations from western New York <geneseebirds-l...> Subject: [GeneseeBirds-L] Tifft Nature Preserve - Apr 11
We were able to squeeze in a quick visit to Tifft this afternoon.
- 12+ Rusty Blackbirds (mixed male/female) vocalizing in trees off Mosquito Junction trail, just around the bend past the boardwalk, heading east - White-throated Sparrow (FOY for us) - Eastern Junco (numerous)
Oddly, we haven't had white-throats yet in our Buffalo backyard (they usually show up by now). But, as at Tifft today, we have seen juncos galore out back. Must be their year.
Good birding to all. -Peter/Teresa Corrigan Buffalo NY
