Subject: [IN-BIRD-L] Hurshtown Reservoir - Allen County
Thirteen birders traveled around Hurshtown Reservoir this afternoon and, in spite of the strong winds and less than perfect viewing conditions, were able to come up with a list of twenty-nine species. Except for a large raft of mostly Scaup and Ring-necked Ducks, there wasn't a whole lot on the water itself. Some of our better birds seemed to be the land birds in the habitat surrounding the water.   Field trip leaders - Rodger Rang, John Winebrenner
