Subject: American Kestrel, Washington County
It was nice to see a male American Kestrel today in Peterswood Park,
perched on a fence, and then working the fields.

A Brown Thrasher was also in evidence, in the same area where I first saw
and heard it on Thursday (FOY for me).

There are many Tree Swallows and Eastern Bluebirds figuring out housing
arrangements here as well.

Numerous Field Sparrows were calling from the lower fields, and the
Red-winged blackbirds are here in large numbers, staking out territory.
