Westport-Burying Hill Beach-
Two hours of seawatching from 7-9am yielded 17 Northern Gannets and 58 Bonaparte's Gulls. Also birds were headed east into the wind and a majority of the birds were close to shore affording excellent views. Visibility was better than expected even though there was heavy rain at times. Wave heights were continually building with the wind, very gusty at times, and the rising tide. High tide was at 8:15.
