Visitors:
I had lots of wonderful help today counting and spotting birds including
Russ States, Ken Felix, Joao Taveres, Julie Leonard, Jerry Stanley, Kathy
Goodblood, Don Snyder, Sam Stull, David Sublette, Bonnie Ginader, Mark
Lethaby, and Roger Donn.

Weather:
Mostly cloudy all day with a light SE wind becoming variable at times.
Temps. reaching the mid 60s F.

Raptor Observations:
A spectacular flight with a continuous movement of birds right along the
lake throughout the day. Over 150 vultures were in the air at times. It
was a good day for kestrels as well. Highlight was a Golden Eagle passing
the watch between the 1000 and 1100 hrs., perhaps a second year bird,
showing a limited amount of white at the base of the primaries and tail.

Non-raptor Observations:
Highlight was a single Sandhill Crane flying SW. Other birds on the move
were Wood Duck--2,Common Loon--6, Double-crested Cormorant--12, Great Blue
Heron--7, Northern Flicker--23, Tree Swallow--many, American Robin--100+,
Common Grackle, Red-winged Blackbird, and Brown-headed Cowbird--many

Predictions:
Warm with SW wind, but heavy rain likely in the morning then becoming
colder in the PM. No flight likely.
