American Robin, a few, FOS on 3-6, daily at water feature, singing on 3-26
Juncos- Singing on 3-3. Pink-sided and Slate-colored absent by mid-March.
For Gray-headed 22 on 3-6 and 24 on 3-31, During snowstorm on March 24,
80+ Gray-headed, 2 Pink-sided, 1 Slate-colored. Also 1 Oregon on 3-5, 3-6
and 3-7.
Western Bluebird, singing, FOS, 3-23
Mountain Bluebird, FOS on 3-9 near Lake George
Rough-legged Hawk, 3-9 near Divide
Mountain Chickadee, singing on 3-13
Hairy Woodpecker, territorial drumming on 3-12
American Kestrel, 1 in Woodland Park area
White-breasted Nuthatch, territorial calling on 3-28
Brown Creeper, 1 on 3-1 and 3-3.
House Finch a few thru the month and 18 on 3-6.
Starling, 1 on 3-6
Downy Woodpecker, 1M on 3-31, new species for yard area
