Subject: [CT Birds] "Saugatuck Sweep" Highlights
7:20-9:40 AM -- Saugatuck River, Westport

A very productive trip along the Saugatuck River today revealed 1 COMMON MERGANSER, 2 RING-NECKED DUCKS, 1 COMMON LOON, and 2 BLUE-WINGED TEAL at Grace Salmon. These birds are all very rare up the river. At Gorham Island there was also 1 NORTHERN-ROUGH WINGED SWALLOW mixed in with a flock of tree swallows.
