Subject: [ia-bird] Ledges State Park Cinnamon Teal - Directions

I received a couple of inquiries for specific directions to the location of
the Cinnamon Teal currently (at least as of 6:15 PM on Fri 3/31) at Ledges
State Park in Boone County, so in case anyone else was interested in seeing
it and would like a little more information on how to find it, I have
prepared the following:

You can input the GPS coordinates:

Latitude: 41.99648607
Longitude: -93.89266166

into your preferred mapping application, or follow these directions:

From the intersection of US 30 and S. Story St. in Boone, IA, turn south on
S. Story St. and continue for ~3/4 of a mile until you come to a
T-intersection. Turn Right (West) onto Oriole Rd. (Hwy 160). Follow Oriole
Rd for 2.9 miles west and then follow the bend around to the south down the
hill until you pass through the entrance marker for Ledges State Park which
is made out of large limestone blocks. You have arrived! The pond that the
CITE has been in is immediately south of the limestone marker on the right
(west). If you get to the intersection of Oriole RD and the end of the
canyon road (250th St.) and a parking lot you have gone too far. The CITE
is very active and moves in and out of cover, so if you don't see it
immediately, be patient. He may still be there and could very well show up
