Official Counter: Lewis Grove

Observers: Bob Fredrick, Jason Beale, Joe Verica, Nick Bolgiano

Visitors:
Jason Beale and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) Golden Eagle
class visited today. They were treated to a really superb view of a Golden
Eagle close to the ridge and were generally excited to see migrating hawks.

Weather:
Overcast with moderate SE winds and a high around 42F. Early afternoon
rain cut the count short.

Raptor Observations:
A good push of birds moving ahead of the rain.

GOEA: 0909 Unk, 0947 Sub, 1129 Unk, 1151 Sub

BAEA: 0912 Ad, 1139 Ad

Non-raptor Observations:
We have had small groups of Golden-crowned Kinglets present at the watch
over the past week or so, presumably migrants on their way north. Other
birds seemingly migrating:

COGR - 7; EUST; 1; TRES; CANG; COLO - 3

Predictions:
Looks like a washout; rain and fog predicted for most of the day.
