Hello all, This morning, 29 March, there was a subadult Neotropic Cormorant at Leroy Elmore Park in Lubbock. It was super easy to pick out as it was one of only 3 cormorants on the playa lake. There were also no fewer than 16 Black-crowned Night-Herons at the rookery along with 4 Cattle and 2 Snowy Egrets.
Of local interest, McAllister Park had 11 American Avocets and one adult Peregrine Falcon.
