There were two Blue-winged teal with Mallards in a small pond along Solar Dr. this afternoon. There were also two Northern Harriers here, along with many Killdeer, Red-winged Blackbirds and European Starlings.
There was a lone male Redhead in the main pond at Imperial Grasslands. A Northern Harrier and American Kestrel were also here, along with an Eastern Meadowlark and numerous Killdeer.
The conifers (and everything else!) along King Rd. have been taken down. The habitat along this road has been decimated. It was not like this last time we were out here, about three weeks ago. Very sad.
