Dear friends,

Since SDFO is meeting on Wednesday night this month, here is another option for your Tuesday evening.

Tomorrow 21 March one of the world’s leading bird paleontologists, Luis Chiappe from the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, will be talking about “Birding in the Age of Dinosaurs” at the San Diego Natural History Museum. Discoveries in the last few years have revolutionized our understanding of early birds and their relationship to the dinosaurs. The talk starts at 7:00 PM. You can get tickets, $9 for museum members and $12 for nonmembers, at http://www.sdnhm.org/calendar/public-programs/nattalks-and-films/ or at the door any time between 6:00 and 7:00 PM. Sure to be fascinating!

Good birding,

Philip Unitt
