Subject: [obol] Clarification on Western kingbird
Hi all --

I didn't describe the tail correctly in my earlier post about seeing a
Western kingbird at Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge. It had a black tail, *edged
*with white. I think I was so excited to see it that I didn't proof read my
description!

The field at Oaks Bottom has been a little treasure trove this early
spring. Last week, I saw a female Western bluebird hunting in almost the
same place as the kingbird. And on Saturday, saw that the familiar osprey
has returned to its nest on top of a nearby power tower.

Happy birding --
Abby
