There was an adult male Yellow-headed Blackbird in with a large flock of predominantly Red-winged Blackbirds this afternoon (3:45-4:10PM) around the farm pond, field and trees at the intersection of Rtes. 155 and 156. Most of the flock had flown off by the time I left, but they had flown off earlier and returned to the big bare tree at the corner near the house and red barn, so they're probably still in the area and may return to that spot. There's a big fertilizer/manure heap in the field close by that the birds were visiting, flying between there and the trees near the corner. This is the same farm that hosted the Snowy Owl a few years ago...now the ebird hotspot known as Hopkins Farm Pond. There's a wide shoulder along 155 that can be used to pull off and check the area.
