Subject: [CT Birds] Gyrations
Bill,
Thanks for the report. Gyrs of any color are rare in CT. White ones in particular are much sought-after anywhere and pretty distinctive given a decent look. Late March/early April isn’t too out of the range for a returning bird, and any "white-looking Peregrines" are definitely worth a look!
The report is intriguing I am sure, so would you be able to pinpoint the location a bit more specifically. Somebody may want to check the area out.
Thanks for sharing and even if you are not totally sure of the id, the timely report is enough to give people a chance to maybe look if they so desire. Julian Hough New Haven, CT 06519  www.naturescapeimages.wordpress.com
