Subject: [obol] Hood River phoebes
Yesterday Sarah and I enjoyed some sunny birding in Hood River County. The
day's highlight was the abundance of SAY'S PHOEBES. At one time we counted
six individuals foraging in the trees just north of the mouth of Hood
River. I've never seen so many in such a small area. I wonder if it's a
sign of a good year for phoebe-finding, or a typical observation in this
area.

Happy Spring birding,

Max Smith,
