Subject: [NHBirds] Bohemian Waxwings at "Country Cottages", Gilford
Observed a nice mixed flock of birds in the bushes behind "Country
Cottages", Gilford. It was a mixed flock of Robins, few, Cedar Waxwings,
40+, and Bohemian Waxwings, a dozen or more. "Country Cottages" is located
off Route 11, just past the junction with Route 11c. I doubt that this was
more than a random observation as there was not much in the way of food to
keep these birds there.

Also observed two adult Bald Eagles circling over the Sawyer Meadow area,
junction of Route 11 and Interval Road. This well have been a pair as one
of the birds was obviously smaller than the other. The birds disappeared to
the the south, heading for Laconia

This area is still covered with a foot or more of snow.
