Subject: [CT Birds] New Milford Yard Storm Activity
Incredibly busy during (40-50 birds together at feeders) and after the storm - fox sparrow, tree sparrows (1st this winter), brown creeper, flock of red-winged blackbirds, 2 wood duck on the stream, pileated woodpeckers calling, bluebirds checking boxes, 20 goldfinches, red-tailed hawk with prey (pair today), red-shouldered hawk, all the usual suspects + I starling (ah well). 26 species. And now a raven just flew over and the kingfisher arrived!
