Subject: [JERSEYBI] Assunpink
For those who might be thinking of coming to Assunpink this weekend in
search of the Trumpeter Swan. I want to post that I have been there the
past 2 mornings and that the bird was not visible from the main boat launch
area. There were about 100 Common Mergansers, some Ruddy and Ring-necked
Ducks and a handful of a couple of other common species. The "road" I
generally drive to the eastern end of the lake I deemed to be impassable in
my vehicle so the bird could still be around.
Best of luck for those who try
