Subject: [CT Birds] Red Knots & Horseshoe crabs: March 21 lecture at Yale FES
If you're interested in Connecticut's endangered wildlife and want to know about the amazing link between Red Knots, horseshoe crabs and an absolutely essential medicine for surgery, we invite you to the lecture the Connecticut Audubon Society is hosting in New Haven on Tuesday, March 21.

The lecturer is Deborah Cramer, author of The Narrow Edge: A Tiny Bird, An Ancient Crab, and an Epic Journey (Yale University Press). The talk is set for Kroon Hall, at 7 p.m. Tickets are a bargain, at $10 or $5 (www.ctaudubon.org/lecture).

Here's a link to a story about the talk, in the New Haven Register. http://www.nhregister.com/general-news/20170312/at-yale-award-winning-author-will-talk-birds-crabs-and-why-they-matter
