Subject: Peace Valley Park (IBA) Bucks Co. (3/5 - 3/11)

The reported species this week totaled 53. Some highlights include:
10 duck species in mostly very low numbers including:
Ring-necked Duck -high report 27 3/5

Common Merganser-high report 76 3/5

Ruddy Ducks -high report 72 3/9

2 Horned Grebe 3/8
4 gull species including:
Lesser Black-backed Gull -high report 13 3/5
Great Black-backed Gull-high report 5 3/5
Black-capped Chickadee (photo) & Red-breasted Nuthatch continue
1 E. Towhee 3/5

Also, Bald Eagle, Brown Creeper, E. Bluebird, Cedar Waxwing, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Fox Sparrow

Also, from the previous two weeks, a Lincoln's Sparrow was reported just west of the strip parking area off New Galena Rd. at Old Limekiln Rd. along the bike path on 2/24.
It or another was reported again 3/4 at the Sunrise Trek between Lake Walk and the evergreen stand up the hill. The latter location is not far from the bird feeders,
and if the bird is still present would likely show up there. A photo to document this seasonal rarity would be welcome.
