Forwarding from a posting by Kim Roberts McAfee on the Arkansas Birders FB Page:Henderson State University's Simonson Biological Field Station invites interested birders to a bird survey on its property at Lake DeGray to assist with implementation of a planned wildlife management on the 184 acre property in Bismarck, AR. According to Dr Troy Bray, chair of the HSU Biology Department, the research center is partnering with the Army Corps of Engineers to specifically develop habitat for Bobwhite Quail.  Date: Saturday, March 25. Time: Station opens at 6 am. Orientation at 6:30 am. Birding from 7 am to 2 pm. Continental breakfast and lunch provided.
