Subject: [AZNMbirds] SEAZ: Ash Canyon B&B FOS Black-chinned Hummingbird
A FOS male BLACK-CHINNED HUMMINGBIRD showed up today, bringing hummer species up to four; Anna’s, Magnificent, and Broad-billed are the other three.

The fine male SCOTT’S ORIOLE is making regular showings, but still seems a bit skittish being the sole oriole in the yard. He will soon be joined by other orioles.

The RUFOUS-CROWNED SPARROW is back, along with CHIPPING, LINCOLN’S, and WHITE-CROWNED. Several DARK-EYED JUNCOS (Gray-headed, Pink-sided, and a hybrid of the two) are around, but strangely, not more than one or two Pine Siskins all winter, which is most unusual for here.

Lots of other birds around — the usual suspects for this time of year.
