Hello, this early afternoon i enjoyed watching 2 Ross's Geese & 3 Snow
Geese on my bosses property just west of Pickett, WI in Fondu Lac Co. They
were foraging & loafing with a larger flock of Canada's in a picked but not
plowed muddy cornfield.
The exact location is 100 yds S/W of of the Winnebago/Fondu Lac Co. line,
on the southish side of the road. They could be spotted from your vehicle
on Hwy 44 at Firelane N9688 (Town of Rosendale). It is near Springbrook Rd.
The lighting was crappy, but i hoofed it out near them after i parked my
Semi rig.
There was also a large flock of mixed Blackbirds in which i definitely
heard many Rusty's.
I personally have had bad luck seeing reported Snow's & Ross Geese a day
late, So...
Good Luck, Steve Mullen, Oshkosh, Winnebago Co.
