Subject: [birders] Crested Caracara continues in Escanaba
After an especially comfortable stakeout lasting approximately 45 minutes we were treated to very good looks of the Caracara! The bird arrived at 3:45p and perched in the ash trees to the south. It only stayed around a few minutes, but it was long enough to get good views and photos. All present had good views including Allison, Brenda, Steve, and Jim, as well as Joe Hammerle and myself. Special thanks to Joe Kaplan for his hospitality! Thanks again Joe,Patrick Jakel
