Subject: [MASSBIRD] terrific film about the "Duck Stamp" art competition!
I saw this last night at the Parker River NWR conservation film festival, and HIGHLY recommend that you try to catch the repeat tomorrow (Sunday), 10:45am, at the Visitor's Center on the Plum Island Turnpike, Newburyport - it is fascinating and a delight:

Million Dollar Duck
Filmmaker: Brian Davis Runtime: 71 mins.

The Million Dollar Duck is a documentary that focuses on the strange and wonderful world of the Federal Duck Stamp Contest, the only juried, art competition run by the U.S. government. This film explores the eccentric nature of the contestants who enter each year for a chance at wildlife art stardom, while also reflecting upon the history and challenges facing the continued existence of this successful conservation program.
