Subject: [AZNMbirds] SEAZ: Saturday birding - Add your Hummingbirds to Tucson Audubon's map
Hello SE Arizona Birders!
Tucson Audubon's second Hummingbird Blitz is happening today, Saturday
March 4. It is fun and easy to participate! If you see (or hear!) a
hummingbird anywhere in SE Arizona you can add it to our interactive map
at this link:
This can be done from a computer or a smartphone, you touch near the name
of the species you want to add, zoom into your location and touch the "pin"
icon at the top (it looks like a little balloon) and then you can add your
sighting by touching or clicking on the map where you observed the
hummingbird. You also have the chance to add any details you like such as
how many individuals etc.
Note: You must be signed into some sort of Google item such as GMail etc.
to be able to edit the map and add a sighting. You do not be signed into
anything to view the map.

To see the map with directions on how to add your sightings visit:

If you prefer eBird you can also help by sharing any checklists from
Saturday that include hummingbirds to username *TucsonYOH*

Thanks for your help! We are hoping that participation from birders like
you will encourage beginning birders and non-birders to participate as

Happy Birding!
