Subject: [NHBirds] Great Gray Owl - YES
Bob Crowley just called to report that the Great Gray Owl continues in
Newport near 118 Oak Street. In the same area as previously reported.
It appears to be content during the afternoon to just roost. Bob
reports that observers have been well behaved, BUT BE CAREFUL NOT TO
DISTURB the owl or trespass.

Bob restated that the trail is icy and spikes/cleats would be helpful.

From Chris Gagnon's post yesterday:

"The trail in from 118 Oak st is very icy, micro spikes or something
would be very helpful. I found parking at the church just across the
road from the high school and south of the airport. From the church
there is a grassy snowmobile trail which leads to a bridge which spans
the Sugar River. The bridge offers a great spot to view the field where
the owl was seen"
