Subject: [MDBirding] Bob Mumford photography and lecture
Bob Mumford will present “National Wildlife Refuges, National Treasures” on
Tuesday, March 7 at 7:00 pm as part of the Baltimore Bird Club’s Tuesday
Lecture Series. The location is the Cylburn Arboretum’s Greenhouse
Classroom, 4915 Cylburn Ave. in Baltimore City.

Bob is an award-winning photographer and the author of two books, Spring
Comes to Washington and The Exquisite Birds of Ecuador. During the last
thirty years he has criss-crossed the country, visiting over seventy
national wildlife refuges from far Northeast Maine to far southwest
California, and from the Aleutian Islands to the Florida Keys. He will
screen images from these travels, including stunning photographs of birds,
mammals, reptiles and landscapes.

Directions to Cylburn Arboretum: From Baltimore Beltway I-695, go south on
I-83 Jones Falls Expressway. Take Northern Parkway Exit west (right). Go
about ½ mile up hill to traffic light, turn left on Greenspring Ave. Go
about ¼ mile, just past the first road intersection, and turn left through
the stone gate entrance into Cylburn Arboretum grounds.

Follow the drive to circle in front of Vollmer Center building, and go
around the circle to the first parking area. Follow bend to left and follow
signs for Greenhouse Classroom, going up a short hill to the northernmost
parking area. The Greenhouse building is adjacent to the parking lot, go in
the door and turn left for the Classroom.
