Subject: [CT Birds] River Road, also Eagles
Don't blame the powers that be for the closure...blame the people who go in there to trash the area.

I went on a Riverquest boat trip out of Essex yesterday and we saw over 30 eagles, mostly immatures. Highlight for me was a Peregrine perched along the river. A few goldeneye and mergs but not many ducks. Also excellent views of Great Cormorants on the buoys.
