Raptor Observations:
First day of the count for the season and the southerly winds and warm temperatures came through with 20 migrants. Also two local Bald Eagles and 16 Black Vultures up and about.
Non-raptor Observations:
A few migrant flocks of Canada Geese and Common Grackles; 4 Gadwalls; 6 Northern Shovelers; complete ebird checklist : http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/email?subID=S34772466
Also basking turtles everywhere and a couple of Spring Peepers

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are
from the southwest.
