Two Tropical Kingbirds were photographed and confirmed - Aidan Perkins - at Water Mill-Bridgehampton in Suffolk County, NY on Saturday afternoon, with additional birders arriving later. This obviously suggests birders all around the region and all of NY state might be on the lookout for additional other vagrant birds from all points which might be occurring within NY now or in the coming days and weeks.

New York County - in N.Y. City - including Roosevelt, Randalls, Governors, and Manhattan islands -
Saturday, November 7th -
As already noted to this list, a Bullocks Oriole was ongoing on Saturday at Morningside Park in Manhattan.
2 Black Scoters were noted over the Hudson River by a group of observers from the pier off the western terminus of Dyckman Street in northern Manhattan on Saturday, along with several Royal Terns, the latter species continuing a very-long incursion of some terns, mainly Royals, on the Hudson and N.Y. Harbor areas since much of October. Also seen in the lengthy sky and river watch session by the group at Dyckman St. pier were a dozens-strong movement of Green-winged Teal -which corresponded with by now at least 8 Green-winged Teal at Central Park in 3 of that parks waterbodies- and, again from Dyckman Street on Saturday, more than twenty American Pipits - a good number for pthis county in one watch-session, very modest numbers of Pine Siskins, Common Loon, hundreds of Double-crested Cormorants on the move, as well as large numbers of Cedar Waxwings, American Robins, Red-winged Blackbirds, Brown-headed Cowbirds,
and well over 5000 Common Grackles in flight, along with a late-ish Northern Parula and various additional passerines and other birds. There was also a modest raptor flight which included at least 5 Red-shouldered Hawks as well as Black Vulture and Turkey Vulture sightings. Laughing Gulls were also seen, not at all surprising this year given the strong numbers of that species around the area, and in this county, this year with many continuing at multiple locations.
A Horned Grebe was photographed off Governors Island by multiple observers on Saturday. Three E. Bluebirds were among many other species noted there as well.
A first-year Northern Yellow Warbler was seen and photographed on Roosevelt Island as was an Eastern Bluebird, on Saturday. Palm and Myrtle-form Yellow-rumped Warblers as well as Northern House Wren and double-digit numbers of Laughing Gulls were among other sightings there, as part of a not-for-profit guided bird walk.
A Black-throated Green Warbler was seen by multiple observers in the Ramble area at Central Park on Saturday. Black-and-white Warbler was reported at the same park with the Bullocks Oriole in Manhattan. Other warblers were lingering or pushing through as well in N.Y. County on Saturday, and of course many other birds were also noted for the day.
Thanks to hundreds of observers and photographers for sightings, alerts, and reports.
