During breakfast today we saw two Black Vultures (BLVU) on the roof of our barn which we have occasionally seen before. Then bit before noon today Mary called to me from the kitchen saying a Black Vulture (BLVU) was in the patio bird bath. I was on the second floor in my ""office ad looked out the window and saw 3 BLVU nearby on the breakfast nook roof near the birdbath and grabbed a camera and got some quick photos (attached BLVU-1 thru 3) then went downstairs to see the one in the birdbath but it had moved to the chair at our patio table about 15 ft away (BLVU_4). When downloading on the computer and looking at the pics, it was clear that the head plumage patter on all four were different. BLVU 1 thru 5 were juvenile molts and BLVU_4 was adult plumage per Birds of the World. Never notice this before; still learning something new after eight decades!
